Kalpetta: An old man was injured in a wild buffalo attack in Wayanad. Beeran, a native of Koolivayal, was injured in the attack. This morning there was a wild buffalo attack at Panavalli kalvary Estate.
Beeran, a timber merchant, was attacked by a wild buffalo when he went to take stock of the timber in the estate. Beeran was admitted to Mananthavadi Medical College with facial injuries. His companion escaped and was not injured.
The estate is adjacent to the forest. Locals say that there was a presence of wild buffalo earlier too. Meanwhile, reports say that the condition of the injured is not serious.
