Padayappa’s re-entry, Padayappa is stationed on the Kumily-Munnar state highway. The elephant is currently near the toll booth near Lockhart.
The mission of the special team to monitor Padayappa is continuing. The forest department is monitoring the elephant by using drones. A special team has been assigned to monitor the wild elephant after the Padayappa has been causing widespread damage in the residential area for the past few days. High Range Circle CCF is directly leading the mission.
The surveillance of the forest department is done using a drone which has a sophisticated system. High Range Circle CCF Arun RSS had stated that the move of the forest department is to monitor the elephant including at night.
