Thiruvananthapuram: Padmini Thomas and Thampanoor Satheesh have joined the BJP after ending their association with the Congress. Padmini Thomas was the chairperson of the Sports Council during the UDF government. Along with them, 20 people including DCC general secretary Udayan and Padmini Thomas’ son Danny John Selvan have joined the BJP.

Padmini was a former sportsperson and the state president of the Sports Council. BJP state president K said that more Congress leaders will come to the party. Surendran had said on Wednesday. Apart from the Congress, he also claimed that the LDF leaders would join the BJP.
