Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary M.V. Govindan has reiterated that the party has no role in the Periya double murder case. The CBI, which took over the case, tried to make it appear that the double murder was part of a CPM conspiracy.
Govindan said that party workers and leaders were included for political purposes and that he would approach higher courts against the verdict. M.V. Govindan was responding to the media after the court delivered its verdict in the case on Friday.
