Kozhikode: Tahasildhar and police stopped Nanjiamma, who won the national award for the singer who came to cultivate her own land in the TLA case in Attappadi. Nanjiamma asked Tahasildar Shanawas that the children of Attappadi should live on this land.
Nanchiamma came with a tractor to plow the land and cultivate it. Nanchiamma was stopped because there is a dispute over the ownership of the land. Nanchiamma returned with the assurance that the matter would be discussed on the 19th. Nanchiamma and her relatives came to cultivate four acres of land on the main road of Agli. Then revenue officials and Agli police arrived at the spot and stopped them under the leadership of Attappadi Tribal Taluk Tehsildar PA Shanawaz Khan.
Nanjiamma says that there is a favorable verdict in 2023 in the TLA case between Kanthasamy Boyal and her husband. Nanchiamma alleged that some officials of the revenue department were giving connivance to some people to take possession of the land they claimed if the verdict was in their favor. Nanchiamma said that TLA cases and judgments are not considered by officials and courts.
