The police are taking careful steps to arrest Rahul P. Gopal, the accused in the domestic abuse case from Panthirankavu. The investigation team is preparing to file a charge sheet soon.
After the High Court quashed the initial case, the family has informed that they will consult with their lawyer before filing a fresh complaint. Rahul’s bail plea was rejected by the Kozhikode Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, and in response, the investigation team is moving forward with filing the charge sheet.
Rahul, who is currently remanded in Kozhikode District Jail, faces charges including attempted murder. His marriage to the complainant, a young woman, took place in May in Guruvayur.
The woman’s family has decided to approach the court for divorce. The decision comes after the woman made it clear that she no longer wishes to live with Rahul, prompting the family to take legal action.
