Prathapan accepts the party’s decision with open arms

Thrissur: After saying that the party’s decision not to contest this time will be accepted with both hands, the sitting MP wrote a wall for K. Muralidharan in Thrissur. TN Prathapan. When Muralidharan, who was Vadakara MP confirmed that he would move to Thrissur, Prathapan campaigned for Muralidharan even before the party announcement. Pratapan clarified. Prathapan said that the Congress leadership had communicated with him before deciding the candidate.

It is also noteworthy that the candidate change in Thrissur comes after Congress leader and Karunakaran’s daughter Padmaja Venugopal joined the BJP the other day. In Thrissur, which was the constituency of K. Karunakaran, the Congress is preparing to respond to the BJP’s efforts to make gains through his daughter through K. Muralidharan.

It is known that Shafi Parampil MLA will contest to replace Muralidharan in Vadakara. Congress candidate list will be officially released today. It is reported that the Congress High Command has assured that Prathapan will be considered for the Legislative Assembly.
