In the ragging case at Kottayam Government Nursing College, the accused students have been granted bail. The Kottayam District Sessions Court granted bail to Samuel Johnson, S. N. Jeeva, Rijil Jith, K. P. Rahul Raj, and N. V. Vivek.
Bail was granted considering the age of the accused and the fact that they had not been involved in any previous crimes. The investigation team had submitted the charge sheet in the case.
