Rahul Gandhi will come to Wayanad today after his massive victory in the Lok Sabha elections. Rahul Gandhi will arrive in Karipur in the morning and will meet voters in Malappuram Edavanna and Kalpetta in Wayanad. It is reported that Priyanka Gandhi will reach the constituency today along with Rahul Gandhi during the candidate discussions in Wayanad.
In this year Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi won Wayanad with the largest majority in the state. This is the first time Rahul is coming to the constituency after winning the election. Rahul will arrive at the airport at Karipur at 9 am and attend public meetings at Edavanna at 10 am and Kalpetta at 2 pm. Then reach Kannur by road and return to Delhi from Kannur Airport.
The district Congress leadership has clarified that AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will also come to the constituency along with Rahul Gandhi. Priyanka’s arrival will give momentum to the campaign that Priyanka Gandhi will contest in the Wayanad by-elections that will come after Rahul’s resignation.
