Rain Warning Revised; Orange Alert Issued for Four Kerala Districts

The weather department has warned that it will rain again in the state. There is a possibility of heavy rain for four days. Rain warning has been issued in all 14 districts as part of alert.

Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts are on orange alert on Monday. Yellow alert has also been announced in Pathanamthitta, Palakkad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts. An extreme low pressure is located in the Central Arabian Sea. A low pressure area from this is persisting over south Kerala. Another depression may also form over central south Bay of Bengal. As a result of all this, it is likely to rain in Kerala these days. Nine districts are on orange alert on Thursday. Fishing off the coast of Kerala has been banned.
