Kollam: A 10-year-old boy in Kollam district has been diagnosed with amoebic meningoencephalitis. He has been transferred to the SAT Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram for specialized treatment.
The boy experienced fever and headaches starting from October 11. On the 12th, due to severe headaches and fever, he was admitted to Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital.
However, the treatment there did not improve his condition, so he was transferred to SAT Hospital for further medical care. The health department has informed that there is no need to worry about the boy’s current health status.
