Rooting Out the Soros Network: First Strike on Reporters’ Collective

The central government has decided to examine the financial sources of media organizations receiving Soros funds. The central government has blocked American billionaire George Soros’ moves to destabilize the Indian government and democracy. Media workers, institutions and organizations are on the radar.

The central government has revoked the income tax benefit of the Reporters Collective, a media group that receives foreign funds.

The false news carried by the Reporters Collective is also published in newspapers like Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi in Kerala, as well as Iruvachar News, Kairali, Reporter TV, Madhyamam, Media One, etc. This means that George Soros’ group clearly has roots in Kerala.

Till now, Reporters Collective was not required to pay income tax. But from now on, it will have to pay income tax. The source of money and income must be disclosed. The central government has removed the special status of non-profit organization from the media group Reporters Collective.

The drastic action comes after a group of controversial journalists funded by the American Deep State spread fake news on internal affairs in India on a large scale. They are trying to sabotage the elections. They are spreading fake news against the Election Commission, spreading fake news about poverty in India, spreading fake news on issues like minority groups, the Manipur issue, and the citizenship law. The drastic action by the central government has come after the country’s data is being sabotaged and fake news is being spread.

Now, the Reporters Collective has issued a statement against the central government’s action. The Reporters Collective claimed in a statement that the group has existed as a ‘non-profit trust’ since July 2021. The Reporters Collective claimed that the tax authorities’ revocation of its ‘non-profit status’ would hamper its ability to continue its ‘journalistic work’.

The order revoking our non-profit status will seriously affect our ability to do our work and worsen the conditions for independent public-interest journalism in the country, the Reporters Collective said. The group is accused of having ties to the George Soros Foundation. The Reporters Collective announced that it will seek legal recourse to reverse the Modi government’s action.
