Rs 10 lakh bribe from butcher to CPM in Idukki, Audio out

Audio of CPM taking bribe from butchers and meat vendors in Idukki out. A bribe of Rs 10 lakh was taken. There is no account or receipt for the transaction which is said to be a bribe. Not even in the figures given to the Election Commission. A meat trade worth crores is going on at Vathukudi in Idukki. Here, CPM demanded more than Rs 9 lakh from a trader and took an advance. It was understood that other butcher shops trading here may be closed or burnt down.

But the party leaders who say they can take money from one butcher and burn another will take money from the debtor who decided to burn. Then they will say that the person who gave the money first can be burned. In short take cash from all butchers and burn none. When those who gave money make a fuss, they go and close other shops according to the law.
