Assembly bypolls ; INDIA bloc wins 10 seats and 2 seats for NDA

In the by-elections of the Legislative Assembly of the country, the India alliance is advancing in 10 seats. The India Bloc has won eight seats and is leading in two seats. The BJP front, which won the Lok Sabha elections and maintained its rule by setting a record, could win only 2 seats.

The Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC), AAP and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) have fielded candidates in by-elections in the states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Tamil Nadu on Wednesday.

AAP’s Mohinder Bhagat won by 23,000 votes in Punjab’s Jalandhar West. Trinamool Congress candidates have four seats in West Bengal, where the BJP is trailing behind in all constituencies.

Himachal Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhum’s wife Kamlesh Thakur won the Dehra election in her electoral debut. Congress is also leading in Nalagad in the state and BJP’s Ashish Sharma is ahead in Hamirpur.In West Bengal Trinamool Congress has won four seats.
