Samyuktha Varma, a beloved actress among Malayalam audiences, has stepped away from acting following her marriage to Biju Menon. While focusing on family life, she remains active in yoga, often engaging in intensive sessions. Recently, their candid response to media queries about her acting hiatus has gone viral.
Samyuktha clarified that she is not saying she will never act again, but she mentioned that there won’t be any immediate projects following their recent marriage, especially during the upcoming Onam festival. When asked if talented actresses are stepping away from their careers, Biju Menon shared his perspective.
He stated, “Now when both Samyuktha and I take on acting projects, we’ll be at different locations and times. So when we return home, one of us will be on set while the other is in dubbing, creating a busy schedule.”
He further explained that the essence of marriage is to share a life together. As a result, their opportunities to spend time together may diminish, leading to a situation where they see each other less frequently.
With a smile, Biju added, “I told her to act while I don’t. That’s why I asked her about returning to the screen.” This remark reflects his hope to see Samyuktha back in acting again.
