Satyabhama’s controversial remarks, Human Rights Commission filed a case

Thrissur: The Human Rights Commission has registered a case against Satyabhama’s controversial speech against dancer and actor RLV Ramakrishna. Commission member VK Beena Kumari asked the Thrissur district police chief and the government secretary for culture to look into the reference and submit a report within 15 days.

The case was filed against the remark that black people should not dance. The action was taken in a case registered voluntarily based on a media report. Human rights activist Guinness Mada Sami had also filed a complaint on the same issue.

R.L.V. Sathyabhama’s words were that it was unpleasant for men to play Mohiniyattam on a YouTube channel for Ramakrishna and that he was a crow. ‘Mohini should always play Mohiniyattam. After seeing him, the color of the crow. Mohiniyattam is an art form of playing with everything.

If a man were to say that he would play Mohiniyattam with his legs crossed like this, there would be no such distaste for it. In my opinion, if boys are attracted to charm, they also want to be beautiful. Aren’t there good looking men in the male pillar? If you see him, even God and Peta Talla will not tolerate it’- this was the controversial statement of Kalamandalam Satyabhama in the video.

RLV Ramakrishnan announced that legal action will be taken against the YouTube channel along with Kalamandalam Satyabhama and the interviewer. Legal advice has been sought from experts regarding filing the complaint. Ramakrishnan said that there is a situation where new people cannot enter the art field.
