The search for Arjun in the Gangavali river did not take place yesterday either. The representatives of state and national disaster management forces conducted a routine inspection of the river by boat. Representatives of the Kerala Agriculture University in Thrissur have informed the Uttara Kannada district administration that they are ready to search using an earthmoving machine connected to a watercraft.
However, a final decision will be taken after the Karnataka and Kerala governments discuss with each other. Representatives from Thrissur Agricultural University visited and inspected the site in connection with the removal of soil from the Gangavali River for the search. An earthmoving machine connected to the vessel will be delivered from Thrissur. The Uttara Kannada district administration had requested this from the Thrissur district administration.
