Thiruvananthapuram: Sharon’s parents broke down in tears after the court verdict found the first accused Greeshma and the third accused uncle Nirmala Kumar guilty in the Parassala Sharon murder case. Sharon’s mother Priya and father Jayaraj responded that they will appeal against the court’s acquittal of the second accused, Amma Sindhu. The mother said that Greeshma should be given the death penalty. Although the accused were found guilty, complete justice was not done. After the verdict is announced tomorrow, an appeal will be filed in the High Court against the release of her mother. Sharon’s mother Priya, breaking down, asked if Greeshma’s mother was also guilty and why she was acquitted.
The court’s verdict that Greeshma was guilty was the expected verdict. However, they were not satisfied with the acquittal of their mother. They were convinced that Greeshma and her uncle would be punished. Greeshma’s mother Sindhukumari should not have been acquitted. The next steps will be decided after tomorrow’s verdict. They will investigate what happened in acquitting her mother. They are sad that Greeshma’s mother was not found guilty. Sharon’s parents said that they hope that the maximum punishment will be given in tomorrow’s verdict.
The Neyyattinkara Sessions Court will pronounce the sentence for the accused in the Sharon murder case tomorrow. The parents are hopeful that the accused will get the punishment they deserve. The parents also said that they hope that Greeshma and her co-accused will get the punishment they deserve tomorrow. Mon loved Greeshma so much, that’s why he didn’t even tell the magistrate her name even when she was on her deathbed, said her father Jayaraj.
