Shojo john custody death,No mystery assessment,examined the CCTV footage

Palakkad: Preliminary conclusion is that there is no mystery in the case of Shojo John, a native of Idukki, who was caught by the Excise in a drug case, and was found hanging in the lock-up. The assessment was made after checking the CCTV footage. The investigation is currently being conducted under the leadership of District Crime Branch DySP Abdul Salam.

CCTV footage will be collected for evidence with the help of Keltron officials. In the inquest, the officials stated that nothing was found except a bruise on the body. The crime branch examined the CCTV footage from the time the accused was brought to the excise office.

Shojo John has three daughters, including a five-month-old child. The family has been living in a rented house in Katangot, Palakkad for many years. Shojojon, a lorry driver, had never been involved in such cases before and his wife Jyoti had alleged that the death was mysterious.

CCTV in the incident. The scene and the post-mortem report will be crucial. The evidence needs to come out to confirm whether the incident was a suicide or a custodial death as alleged by the family. As part of the investigation, forensic experts and fingerprint experts examined the spot on Thursday.
