Ajith Aravindakshan and Amaresh Bali were suspended. The students suspended from the college were expelled from the hostel. Following the incident, the students filed a complaint with the governor.
Siddharth’s father came forward demanding that the suspension of the students be withdrawn. Jayaprakash said that there is doubt whether the children’s lives are in danger. Siddharth, a native of Nedumangad, hanged himself in the bathroom of the hostel on February 18.
