Singer Usha Uthup’s husband Jani Chacko Uthup (78) passed away. He died in Kolkata on Monday. He fell ill while watching TV and was taken to a nearby hospital, but his death was confirmed. She added that the cause of death was heart attack.
Jani met Usha in 1969 when he was singing in nightclubs in Kolkata. Later friendship turned into love. They got married two years later in 1971. Later they moved to Kochi. After the birth of their children, they again moved to Kolkata. Children are Sunny Uthup and Anjali Uthup.
