Terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katwa district, 4 soldiers martyred

Srinagar: 4 soldiers martyred in terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Katwa district. Six soldiers were injured. They were shifted to the hospital.

Terrorists attacked an Army patrol convoy on Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road in Katwa on Monday afternoon. After throwing the grenade, the terrorists opened fire. After the army retaliated, the terrorists hid in the forest.

Military sources said that the search for the terrorists is going on. This is the second terrorist attack in Jammu region in two days. A soldier was injured in the attack in Rajouri on Sunday. Katwa is a district that shares border with Pathankot district of Punjab. Army killed 6 terrorists in 48 hours.
