Thiruvananthapuram: Traffic restrictions will be imposed in Kizhakke Kotta due to the State School Kalolsavam. Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced that traffic restrictions have been imposed in Kizhakke Kotta from January 4 to 8, when the Kalolsavam is being held. KSRTC and private vehicle services will not be allowed on both sides of the road from Kizhakke Kotta to Ganapathy Temple.
The minister also informed that services from these parts will be operated from the Kota, Kottakkam and parking centers cut by Attakkulangara. Thiruvananthapuram was last the venue for the Kalotsavam in 2016. The minister said at a press conference that Thiruvananthapuram city is ready to host the Kalotsavam when it returns to the capital after 9 years.
