The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted isolated thunderstorms and rain in the state in the coming days. A Yellow Alert has been issued for several districts, including Palakkad, Malappuram, Wayanad, Ernakulam, and Thrissur, on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, strong winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 km/h are expected, prompting authorities to urge coastal residents to remain cautious. However, the IMD has confirmed that there are no restrictions on fishing along the Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep coasts today.
