The re-edited version of Empuraan will be screened in theaters from today. The film has been trimmed by three minutes, removing a scene depicting the assault of a pregnant woman, along with certain location names and investigation agency boards.
Additionally, the controversial villain’s name, Baba Bajrangi, has been changed. The filmmakers believe these edits will not negatively impact the viewing experience.
Meanwhile, Empuraan entered the ₹200 crore club yesterday, achieving this milestone within just five days of its release. Actor Mohanlal shared the news through his social media handles.
