A bus that went missing while parked at the Kunnamkulam stand in Thrissur has been found. The bus was taken by its former driver, Shamnad. He abandoned the bus near the Guruvayur flyover and fled the scene.
In his statement to the police, the driver claimed that he took the bus because there were no other transportation options available at night. The police are investigating whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time. The accused was identified through CCTV footage.
Early this morning, when the bus owner, Shoni, arrived at the new bus stand to take the parked bus, he found it missing. Following this, a complaint was filed with the Kunnamkulam police.
