New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by the family of ADM Naveen Babu seeking a CBI probe into his death. The bench comprising Justices Sudhanshu Dhulia and K. Vinod Chandran rejected the plea submitted by Naveen Babu’s wife, Manjusha.
The court observed that not all cases can be handed over to the CBI. It stated that an investigation into abetment of suicide had already been conducted and such aspects were duly considered. The court hearing was brief, with senior advocate Sunil Fernandes and advocate M.R. Ramesh Babu appearing on behalf of Manjusha.
