Kerala’s dream project, the Vizhinjam International Port, will be commissioned on May 2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Vizhinjam port to the nation on May 2. This information has been communicated to the port authorities from the Prime Minister’s office.

Since last July, several large cargo ships, including container vessels, have been arriving at the Vizhinjam port. However, the official dedication was delayed to accommodate the Prime Minister’s schedule. Governor Rajendra Arlekar, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Union Shipping and Ports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, State Ports Minister V.N. Vasavan, Industry Minister P. Rajeev, MP Dr. Shashi Tharoor, businessman Gautam Adani, and others will participate in the inauguration ceremony.
