Thrissur: CPM attacked a BJP worker who questioned Suresh Gopi’s poster tearing. The incident happened in Iringapuram, Guruvayur. The CPM attacked Pradeep at his Panickassery house, where he is a vegetable trader in Kottapadi.
Pradeep was seriously injured in the attack and admitted to the Chavakkad taluk hospital. When he saw Suresh Gopi’s posters being torn, Pradeep had questioned him. After that, three people brutally attacked.
In protest against the violence, the BJP held a protest from Kottapadi Junction to Iringappuram yesterday. More than 200 people participated in the protest.
