Thrissur: Big ganja hunt in Kodungallur. Two persons were arrested with about 150 kg ganja while transporting it in a lorry. Anusal and Sarath, natives of Anthikad, were arrested.
The incident took place near Kurumbayamma’s walk in Tekenada at around five o’clock in the morning today. Ganja was found stored in the secret compartment of the National Permit Lorry from Odisha. The lorry reached here through several check posts.
The Idukki registered lorry was seized during a joint inspection conducted by the Thrissur Rural Dansaf and the Kodungallur Police. Rural SP.
