Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Karuvannur allegations. The Chief Minister said that there is no need to lie in Karuvannur and BJP’s aim is to destroy the cooperative sector of Kerala. Investors invest in co-operative sector because of the credibility of the co-operative sector. The investment of those investors should not be affected. He said that it is certain that it will be returned and the investors of Karuvannur Bank need not worry.
He clarified that if the CPM account was frozen in Thrissur to save Suresh Gopi, it will not happen. It is pure nonsense that the party is not filing income tax return. The Income Tax Department itself has said many times that the CPM is the one that provides the Income Tax Department documents. He said that the month-long controversy was a normal transaction between two companies. The Chief Minister said in a press conference that the Left Party will get a big victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
