Srinagar: Four children died in a boat accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Jhelum river. Ten people are missing. It is reported that the boat capsized while crossing the river.
Most of the 20 people in the boat were students. Officials informed that a search operation is going on for the missing persons. The accident happened on Tuesday morning.
The water level was high due to rains in the area in the past few days. The Jammu-Srinagar national highway was also closed. There were landslides in many areas due to heavy rains.
