Thiruvananthapuram: The Finance Department has sanctioned an additional Rs 102.62 crore as government assistance to KSRTC. Rs 72.62 crore is for pension distribution. Rs 30 crore has been sanctioned as financial assistance for other matters.
In the last financial year, the government provided a total of Rs 1612 crore as assistance to the corporation. Rs 900 crore was allocated as budget allocation. In addition to this, an additional Rs 676 crore was provided.
