Thiruvananthapuram. The intelligence department has recommended to the state home department to strengthen the intelligence system in Kerala. It is proposed to strengthen the system to monitor communalists, criminals and gangsters in the state. The recommendation comes in the context of some incidents of violence in the state.
Technology based intelligence system should be strengthened. It is also recommended that 12 CI, 22 SI and 45 senior civil police officers should be appointed to the Special Branch immediately.
Advanced techniques should be used for dark web, cryptocurrency and social media monitoring. The recommendation also states that AI technology should be used to inspect objects.
