The location of the lorry driven by Arjun was found in the radar check. The lorry is between the dunes. The soil will be removed from the location where the lorry is located. The authorities hope that Arjun will be found soon as the weather is favorable.
The search for Arjun, a native of Kozhikode, who went missing following a landslide on the national highway in Shirur, Karnataka, is in full swing. They started clearing the area where the lorry was supposed to be. Karwar SP Narayana said that the soil is believed to be more than 50 meters above the lorry. Intermittent heavy rainfall in the area hampers rescue operations. The SP told the media that he would be able to provide accurate information by noon.
Arjun has been missing since Tuesday. Arjun last spoke from the landslide area. The lorry’s GPS signal was also received from this area. It is reported that 3 tankers, a lorry and a car were parked here when the soil collapsed. It is concluded that Arjun and 2 others are underground. An elderly woman has gone missing.
