One year after the first Vande Bharat service started, another much awaited news is coming out. The third Vande Bharat may start service in Kerala soon. That too on the Ernakulam to Bengaluru route, which was much awaited by the Malayalees.
Ernakulam-Bengaluru service was one of the routes put forward by passengers when the demand for Vande Bharat service started in Kerala. There is no doubt that the launch of Vande Bharat service from Bengaluru to Kerala, where many Malayalis work and study, will be a super hit. Current reports indicate that the Railways has also reached this conclusion.
At present two Vande Bharats in the state are operating on Thiruvananthapuram – Kasaragod and Mangalore – Thiruvananthapuram routes. According to reports, the Railways was considering two routes for the third Vande Bharat. They were Thiruvananthapuram – Coimbatore and Ernakulam – Bengaluru routes.
