In 1978, she married the famous director Bharathan. The children are Srikutty and Siddharth. Along with her acting talent, her distinctive voice also made her stand out. After her husband’s death in 1998, Lalitha left the film industry for a while and later returned to the film industry with Sathyan Anthikad’s film “Khala Begho Maalar”. The actress won the National Award for her performance in Amaram (1991) and Shantam (2000). He has also received state honors several times.
