Uma Thomas, MLA, who has been undergoing treatment after sustaining injuries from a fall in the VIP gallery of Kochi’s Kaloor Stadium, has shown remarkable progress in her health. According to the medical team, she has started walking and will be shifted to her room today.
When shown the video of the accident, the MLA reportedly did not recall the incident. Visitors will be allowed to meet her a week later, as per the medical team’s update. On Wednesday, her Facebook admin team also shared an optimistic health update, stating that Uma participated in a five-minute conference call and expressed her frustration about being in quarantine for the past ten days. However, she assured that she would soon coordinate her work effectively.
The MLA directed her office staff to ensure smooth functioning and seek assistance from other legislative members in emergencies requiring her intervention. The admin team further shared that Uma instructed her staff to assess the progress of ongoing development projects in her constituency accurately.
