Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to visit Munambam after bringing in the Waqf Act amendment. The minister will visit Munambam on the 9th of this month. It is reported that the Union Minister will reach Munambam at 4 pm.
Kiren Rijiju is coming to participate in a program organized by the NDA Ernakulam District Committee. The people of Munambam have decided to give a grand welcome to the Union Minister.
The issue of Munambam was raised by both the ruling and opposition parties during the discussions held in both the houses on the Waqf Bill. Although the central government says that the bill will benefit the residents of Munambam, the Union Minister has clarified that the law will not have retrospective effect.
