Thiruvananthapuram city is all set for the Attukal Pongala festival. Several celebrities are arriving to participate in the grand celebration.
In connection with Attukal Pongala, Union Minister Suresh Gopi distributed annadanam (free food) at Attukal. He visited the temple along with his wife, Radhika. Suresh Gopi personally served food to the devotees waiting in line. The minister is also covering the expenses of today’s annadanam.
Along with his wife, he began the distribution by serving rice to the devotees. Suresh Gopi continued to serve annadanam for about 15 minutes, actively engaging with the devotees by greeting them and asking about their well-being.
Radhika Suresh Gopi mentioned that they make it a tradition to visit Attukal and conduct annadanam on the eve of Pongala every year. She added that, in recent years, she has been performing Pongala at home and will do the same this time as well.
Singer G. Venugopal also joined Suresh Gopi in distributing annadanam to the devotees.
