Kochi: Actor Unni Mukundan and director Vishnu Mohan presented the Bengal Governor Excellence Award. The announcement and distribution of the award was made at the opening stage of Social Media Conference 2024 organized by Vishwa Samvada Center at Elamakara Bhaskariyam Convention Center.
In the event held at the convention center, Bengal Governor C. Both received the award from V Ananda Bose. The award consists of Rs 50,000 and a plaque. Unni Mukundan donated the prize money for the education of needy students. An excellence award of Rs 10,000 was also announced for the top 10 social media influencers who participated in Lakshya.
Film star Unni Mukundan said that social media is a powerful tool and the fact that the Prime Minister is honoring notable content creators in the country shows the importance of social media.
Lakshya Swagata Sangh Chairman K.C. Narendran presided over the function and RSS Prachan Pracharak S. Sudarshanan, Pranta Prachar Pramukh M. Balakrishnan, Director Vishnu Mohan, RSS Provincial Committee Member V. Vishwaraj also spoke.
