Thiruvananthapuram. VC’s intervention on the issue of naming the Kerala University Art Festival after the Jihad of Palestinian terrorists. An explanation was sought from the university registrar on the VC issue. He was not informed about the art festival. The VC also said that the decision was taken by the university union.
Arts festival is not war or riot. Kalolsavam needs Kerala names. I don’t know how the Arabic name came about. After explanation further action if necessary will be decided. Intifada is the name of armed terrorist attacks by Palestinian terrorists against Israel.
This is the name given to the SFI Union University Arts Festival. The intifada is interpreted by radical Islamists as an effort to rid the Israelis of their filth.
