SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Natesan described P. Sarin, the Left Front candidate for the Palakkad constituency, as a “promising candidate.” His remarks came during a media interaction following a meeting with Sarin.
Vellappally noted that all three fronts in Palakkad are neck-and-neck in the race, while criticizing the Congress as a “private limited company” unwilling to embrace others. He also commented that his past advocacy for social justice had led to attempts to imprison him, calling Congress a “dead horse.” He clarified his personal distance from Congress.
