Venjaramoodu Murder Case; Accused Afan Stages Drama at Police Station

The accused in the Venjaramoodu mass murder case, Afan, staged a drama at the police station. Due to suicidal tendencies, he was kept in the lockup with handcuffs. In the morning, when he went to the restroom, he pretended to collapse.

Afan told the doctor that he was not accustomed to using an Indian-style toilet and could only use a European-style one. He also claimed that he felt dizzy when standing up after sitting. The doctor, however, only prescribed a single medicine for dizziness.

When Afwan stepped out after the checkup, he appeared completely normal, unlike how he was while inside the police station. He had no difficulty walking, making it evident that he was faking the entire act.
