Venjaramoodu Massacre: Doctors Confirm Shemi’s Health is Improving

Doctors say that Afan’s mother, Shemi, who is accused in the Venjaramoodu massacre case, is recovering. Hospital authorities have stated that she is responding to questions and is talking. Although the police had arrived the previous day, Shemi’s statement was not taken as she was in a daze. Dr. Kiran Rajagopal clarified that if the police arrive today, they will see.

“Shemi’s brain scan was taken this morning. There was no increase in brain fluid. It continues to be the same as yesterday. She is conscious. She is talking. She knows everything. She is looking for her relatives. The functions of other organs also continue to remain unchanged. They are talking about pain, medication, etc.,” the doctor said.

By yesterday evening, Shemi’s health had improved. The doctor said that he is still in the same condition. There were injuries on his head. There are fractures in his face. The fracture is in his jaw and skull, the doctor said.
