We can provide a house in Malappuram for Vellappally Natesan to stay rent-free , P. Abdul Hameed

The statement made by Vellappally Natesan against Malappuram district had sparked major controversy. In response, Muslim League District General Secretary and MLA P. Abdul Hameed has come forward with strong criticism. He stated that a house in Malappuram could be provided to Vellappally Natesan to stay rent-free.

Vellappally had remarked that Malappuram is a separate nation and belongs to a particular group of people. He also launched a sharp attack against the Muslim League, alleging that the League, which speaks of social justice and secularism, deceived the Ezhava community. He claimed that the League began to oppose him only after he refused to attend their invitation. He accused the League of being the real communalists and questioned why a party that preaches secularism never fields a Hindu candidate.

P. Abdul Hameed responded by saying, “We are ready to offer Vellappally a rent-free house so he can enjoy the charm of Malappuram. In Muslim-managed institutions, up to 50% of the employees are non-Muslims. But can Vellappally show even 5% Muslim employees in any of his institutions?”

P. Abdul Hameed made these remarks while inaugurating the Muslim League leadership meeting of the Nilambur constituency held at Chungathara. League office-bearers and other leaders participated in the meeting.
