₹500 Currency Notes Around Younger Brother’s Body – What Was the Motive?

Thiruvananthapuram: The Venjaramoodu massacre is an incident that has shocked the entire state of Kerala. Yesterday, the accused Affan (23) killed his father’s mother Salma Beevi, the accused’s younger brother Ahsan, his girlfriend Farzana, his father’s brother Latif, and Latif’s wife Shahida. In this, a ninth-grade student had scattered Rs. 500 currency notes around Affan’s body.

No one understands why Afsan did this. The police said that they are investigating this as well. Afsan’s body was found lying on the floor in the living room. Locals in Perumala Arch Junction said that Afsan was often seen riding his bike with Afsan. There is a ten-year age difference between the two. Since his father was abroad, Afsan loved his younger brother with the care of his father. He also took care of Afsan’s studies.

Before the murder, he took his younger brother to a hotel and bought him some kuzhimanthi. The rest of the kuzhimanthi and the soft drink were left on the chair on the veranda of the house even at night. Relatives say that Afan was careful not to let the hardships of his cancer-stricken mother and the family’s debt affect his younger brother. Still, it remains unknown why he brutally killed his younger brother.
