A man collapsed and died after running in fear upon seeing a wild elephant at Pynavoorkudy in Kuttampuzha, Kothamangalam. The deceased has been identified as C.M. Prakash of Chakkananikal. The incident occurred around 1 AM last night while he was trying to chase away the elephant that had approached near his house.
The elephant turned towards Prakash and his friends. He ran away in fear and collapsed shortly after.Prakash was already dead when he was brought to the hospital. The body was shifted to Baselius Hospital in Kothamangalam.
