Actor, casting director, and filmmaker Rajesh Madhavan has tied the knot with Deepti Karat. Rajesh, a native of Kollathur in Kasaragod, began his career as a television presenter before making an unexpected entry into films. The couple got married after a long-standing relationship.
Deepthi Karat, the bride, is an assistant director and production designer. She worked as an assistant director for the film Nna Thaan Case Kodu, in which Rajesh also acted. Deepthi hails from Palakkad. Rajesh, who started as a production controller, made his acting debut with a small role in Maheshinte Prathikaaram. He later worked as an assistant director in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum and became active in various roles in cinema, including acting and casting direction.
Rajesh has delivered notable performances in films like Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham, 18 Plus, Neelavelicham, and Minnal Murali. He is also gearing up for his directorial debut with the film Pennum Porattum.
Deepthi, has also worked as an assistant director in projects like Indian Police Force, Dahaad, Sitara, Across the Ocean, and Careful. She was also the production designer for the film Thritheeya.
