He has also informed that he is ready to pay for the next 10 people if the government’s financial support for gender reassignment surgery is delayed.
Anisha, Mika, Venus Paul, Shravantika Gopika, Preeti, Abhirami, Rena, Tina Elsa and Adrija are the first to undergo gender reassignment surgery. Suresh Gopi, who participated as the chief guest in the Onam celebration program organized in Thrissur last August by the social and cultural organization Prakishka Foundation in Mumbai and in the celebration organized in Kochi on the Kerala Birth Day, promised that he would donate the necessary amount for the surgery of 10 transgenders.
